I can run Oracle Forms on Mozilla Firefox.
1- Install JInitiator.
2- C:\Program Files\Oracle\JInitiator 1.1.8.19\bin\NPJinitXXXX.dll --XXXX = Version.
3- Paste it under this directory of Firefox(C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins).
4- Restart Firefox.

Steps
- Login to your computer as an amdinistrator account.
- Go to Start->Run
- Type regedit into the text box
- Navigate in the explorer like window to the section: HKEY_USERS -> .DEFAULT -> CONTROL PANEL -> DESKTOP
- Change the "ScreenSaveActive" value to 0 and "ScreenSaveTimeOut" value to 0
Tips
- It is a good idea to backup the registry before you make any changes to it.
- Do not edit any values in the registry unless you explicitly know what you are doing.
Warnings
- Editing the registry can make you computer completely unusable and inaccessible.

This explains how to connect to another computer on your local network through Windows XP's built-in remote desktop utility.
Steps
- Remote Desktop must be enabled on all the computers to which you wish to connect. To ensure that it is enabled, follow these steps:
- Right click the My Computer icon on your desktop or start menu and click properties.
- Click the Remote tab at the top of the system properties window and check the box next to "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer."
- After you have completed these steps, you are ready to connect to another computer. Before you start, make sure both computers are turned on and connected to your Local Area Network (LAN). It also helps if you both have configured the same workgroup as your default, if you are not on a domain configuration. Most home networks are not on a domain.
- On the computer you will be connecting from click Start-->Run and type 'mstsc.' Press ENTER.
- Type the name of the computer you wish to connect to in the connection window.
- Log in using the username and password supplied by the computer owner. You can not sign into a Limited Account using Remote Desktop.
Tips
- To find the name of the computer you wish to connect to log onto that computer and right click My Computer, click properties, and click the Computer name tab.
- The computer you are connecting to must have a password (the login password cannot be blank).
- If the computer name does not work, try using its IP address (see How To article)
- Use Start/Settings/Control Panel/Systems icon if you don't have a My Computer icon on your desktop.

We've all been in a situation where we need to convert one measurement to another. An objects mass was measured in ounces and not kilos, or the lumber you ordered was measured in metres instead of feet, or someone is planning a trip to the USA and wants to know the speed limits in mp/h when they're used to km/h. There are a multitude of jobs where this is a daily task, some of them where measurements must be exact. Well, there is an easier way. There is a function in Microsoft Excel called CONVERT that will convert from one measurement system to another and all you have to do is specify the number and the measurement systems!
Steps
- Start Microsoft Excel
- The CONVERT function is not installed by default. It is part of the Analysis Add-in tool pack. To install add-ins, Click on the Tools menu, and click on Add-ins.
- You will need to put in a checkmark beside Analysis Toolpak.
- Depending on how Microsoft Office was installed, you may be asked to provide the install CD.
- The other add-ins are worth installing, most notably Solver, but they are beyond the scope of this article.
- The CONVERT function is now installed. Let's test it by converting miles to kilometres
- Type =CONVERT(60,"mi","km"). You should get a number around 100 (CONVERT returned 97, for the record).

Just I'll write how you can connect ORACLE database with ORACLE Developer?
When u use SQL Plus and don't have any problem, and u wanna install developer(Forms & Reports), u cannot connect to the same Database.
The first:
You must have the same NLS_LANGUAGE in two home (DB, Dev).
How?
Go to Registry Editor: Start -> Run -> regedit ->
Search about "NLS_LANG" and change its value to "AMERICAN_AMERICA.AR8MSWIN1256" to you can write and retrieve Arabic, and search another time else "not found".
The second:
Search about file "tnsnames.ora", we will found more than one file.
You'll find it in

If you want to connect from all ORACLE Application to the same database you will have the same content of " tnsnames.ora" file.
Each ORACLE Application have "tnsnames.ora" file.
In another version you will see another schema but the same concept, please try it and return me what the result.

What's the purpose for Google as a proxy? We often use office/school/university connections, usually those services are set to provide more safety, blocking the access to undesidered web sites (the "black list"). What you can do now is use Google translator service (language tools) as a proxy to bypass the restrictions set for our connection!
You just need to type the following URL:
http://www.google.com/translate
(www.forbiddensite.com stands for the URL you need to go to...)
What you'll get is the translation (english to english!) of the page you want to see... your connection is directed to a google.com page so this page won't be blocked (would be blocked only with google.com on the black list), no matter what's the content.
Notice that the URL has been a little hacked because the parameter "langpair"(1) is set to "en|en" (english/english) so the page is processed by Google but you can keep the original language of the page (no need to translate!). If you need another language (e.g. french) you just need to set the parameter langpair to "fr|fr" and you'll be able to read french pages in french!
A couple of examples:

italian (my own homepage!)... http://www.google.com/translate
Last but not least: if you use this trick, you're not sure to protect your privacy, this kind of connection lets you see blacklisted pages but doesn't hide your IP address. Just go to http://www.google.com/translate to see your IP is not hidden...

Be Afraid Microsoft… Be VERY Afraid

Well it looks like Google is back up to it with the pre-pre-release of Google Spreadsheets . Given the fact that I haven't gotten into the preview yet I can't say from personal experience but this looks like a killer app (literally and figuratively).
Particularly intriguing about this offering is the heavy focus on collaboration, something that feels oddly missing from the recent Google Notebook. So far I really like what I see in the works and I hope Google brings this approach to all their applications.
Many have said but none have been able to prove that Google is writing a web-based office suite that would compete with Microsoft, the first move was their acquisition of Writely, and now this. Google has positioned itself with a partial office suite that would easily compete with Microsoft. Let's review:
- Gmail + Calendar + Chat + Notebook = MS Outlook
- Writely = MS Word
- Google Spreadsheets = MS Excel
- Google Pages = MS Frontpage
